About The Position

Aegis Living San Rafael is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and creative Life Enrichment Assistant to help create meaningful memories for residents and their families. The assistant designs and conducts resident activities alongside the Life Enrichment Director(s), helps coordinate community-wide events, and develops innovative enrichment programs. Activities may include arts and crafts, outings, games, exercise, and entertainment. The role is full-time and requires working one weekend day.

Requirements

• Caring and compassionate attitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to use computers, televisions, apps, and other electronic devices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with seniors in assisted living or a related field.
• Musical background.

• Experience planning events for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Design, facilitate, and conduct activities for residents alongside the Life Enrichment Director(s).
• Assist in coordinating community-wide events, including themed parties, holiday celebrations, and hosted speakers.
• Create new and innovative enrichment programs and activities while maintaining high-quality standards for residents.
• Participate in activities such as painting and pottery, lunch outings, shopping trips, sporting events, card games, exercise, puzzles, games, and movies.
• Maintain a professional and caring attitude toward residents.
