About The Position

The Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) team is responsible for ensuring products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time. LCE disciplines participate in the total life cycle of products from conception to deactivation. As a Life Cycle Engineering Intern, you will be an integral part of the LCE team, interfacing with team members, stakeholders, customers, and program leaders. You will support and develop various sustainment analyses, including Logistics Supportability Analysis, Provisioning data for parts, Spares Analysis, and Spares Availability for hardware within a specific product line.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate program in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree
  • Experience with data collection and/or analysis
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with various areas of the Technical Data Package (drawings, parts lists, and electrical schematics) and experience generating/interpreting Parts List
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
  • "Hands on" experience with hardware repair and maintenance a plus
  • Experience working in a project management environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining supportability analyses and provisioning data
  • Collaboration with cross-product teams including Chief Engineers, Program Directors and Program Managers
  • Applying advanced logistics principles to develop complex program level concepts and plans
  • Providing support for proposal development and BOE writing.
  • Occasional Domestic and/or International Travel May Be Required
