About The Position
The LifeCafe Supervisor oversees daily shift operations in the LifeCafe, delivers a high-quality experience to members, and motivates staff to provide excellent customer service. The role includes monitoring food quality and speed of service to ensure a positive experience for members and guests. This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.25 and going up to $20.50, based on experience and qualifications. Night and weekend availability is required based on business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire.
- ServeSafe certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods.
- Night and weekend availability based on business needs.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of supervisor or manager experience with a food service or retail background in a high-volume atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Manage LifeCafe shift operations and adjust schedules based on traffic flow.
- Lead daily shifts by providing a high level of customer and team support.
- Ensure team members prepare menu items correctly and serve customers professionally.
- Provide promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager.
- Perform light food preparation.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to member questions, comments, and concerns.
- Monitor food quality and speed of service.
