About The Position

The Mass Tort Lien Resolution Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing a team of 4–7 Case Analysts within the Mass Tort Lien Resolution department. This role oversees all aspects of the lien resolution process, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with client and regulatory requirements. The Supervisor plays a critical role in driving team performance, maintaining service quality, and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients. The ideal candidate is a process and solutions-oriented leader with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They possess the ability to understand complex operational objectives, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and translate business needs into scalable workflows and standardized processes. This individual will also be responsible for documenting procedures, developing training materials, and supporting the ongoing growth and success of both U.S.-based and India Operations team members.

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of experience leading or managing teams in lien resolution, legal services, claims administration, healthcare reimbursement, or a related operational environment
  • Comparable experience demonstrating sustained leadership and influence may be considered.
  • Working knowledge of operational workflows, quality controls, performance metrics, and service-level management
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise employees, set clear expectations, allocate work, coach performance, resolve routine issues, and hold team members accountable for results.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret operational data, identify root causes, assess risk, and implement practical solutions.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and changing workloads in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop, document, and improve workflows, standard operating procedures, training materials, and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate expectations and feedback clearly and to convey operational status, risks, and recommendations to employees, management, clients, and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with U.S.-based and India-based teams and coordinate work, training, and feedback across time zones.

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and the ability to learn and use case management, workflow, and reporting systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of lien resolution or healthcare reimbursement practices is strongly preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Operations, Legal Studies, Finance, Technology, a related discipline or have commiserate experience.
  • 1-3+ years’ experience with case management systems, workflow tools, legal operations platforms, or automation solutions.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP, data analysis, and reporting functions.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or similar data-querying tools.
  • Prior experience in the legal, insurance, healthcare reimbursement, or settlement administration industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Case Analysts, including assigning work, setting expectations, conducting regular one-on-one meetings, providing timely feedback, evaluating performance, and addressing employee relations matters in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Plan and oversee daily lien resolution operations to ensure work is prioritized, adequately staffed, and completed accurately and within applicable key performance indicators, service level agreements, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure timely submission, tracking, and follow-up of lien requests, correspondence, bulk submissions, outstanding liens, tasks, and tickets; promptly report material delays, risks, and exceptions to the Manager, Lien Operations.
  • Monitor team workload, workflow trends, productivity, quality, and client service metrics; analyze results and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy, efficiency, capacity, and case progression.
  • Oversee quality assurance and operational controls, including audits, error and client satisfaction reviews, red-flag tracking, and adherence to procedures, checklists, and documentation standards.
  • Provide technical and procedural guidance on lien resolution and standard negotiation approaches, including compromise, waiver, appeal, and reduction requests; escalate complex, novel, or legally sensitive matters to management or appropriate counsel.
  • Create, maintain, and deliver standard operating procedures, training materials, job aids, and knowledge resources that support onboarding, employee development, and consistent execution across U.S.-based and India-based teams.
  • Partner with operations leadership and cross-functional technology, reporting, legal, and business support teams to define requirements and implement process, system, automation, and reporting improvements.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and communicate team status, risks, resource needs, and improvement progress to management and other stakeholders.
