About The Position

As a Licensing Support Staff in the Foster Care department, you will provide administrative, recruitment, outreach, and data support to ensure licensing processes are organized, accurate, and moving efficiently while delivering trauma-informed, high-quality customer service to applicants, foster parents, and internal partners. A typical day as a Licensing Support Staff will include supporting recruitment and outreach efforts, contacting prospective applicants, assisting with orientations or events, organizing and maintaining licensing files, entering and tracking data in internal systems, responding to basic inquiries, and routing more complex matters to appropriate staff while adhering to CARE principles and organizational procedures. As a Licensing Support Staff, this role is typically an individual contributor position, community-based or office-based, requiring strong organization, attention to detail, and time management. This role may be well-suited for an individual with lived experience as a foster parent, who can leverage firsthand understanding of the licensing journey to build authentic relationships, strengthen outreach, and provide empathetic, practical support while remaining accountable to systems, deadlines, and team culture.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Possess excellent time management skills
  • Be a convincing/persuasive public speaker and communicator

Responsibilities
