About The Position

As a partner in building brighter futures for youth and their families, your role will be to assist with and facilitate the licensing processes of our foster parents that align with The Village Network’s Mission, Vision & Values.

Requirements

• Ability to use a computer; familiarity with Word, Excel, and E-Time.
• Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) required.
• Maintains adoption assessor certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintains a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing The Village Network with vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties related to recertification and halfway verifications.
• Assists with state audits to ensure advocate files are in compliance.
• Completes home studies.
• Completes Treatment Foster Care/Family Foster Care and adoption home study assessments.
• Recruitment, screening, and interviewing of prospective foster parents.
• Manages foster parent training hours and ensures that all agency and Village Network requirements are met.
• Maintains foster parent files.
• Completes all appropriate documentation, logs, and paperwork.
• Answers phone queries.
• Performs other duties as required, including provision of CSP services.
