About The Position

Medical Solutions is seeking a highly motivated professional with healthcare staffing, compliance, and process-management knowledge for the Licensing Specialist role. The specialist serves as a licensure resource for internal and external customers, maintains and updates licensure information for the sales team, guides healthcare travelers through obtaining licensure by endorsement, and researches licensure requirements requested by sales team members. The position reports directly to the Manager of Quality Services.

Requirements

Previous employment in a healthcare staffing setting.
Strong team-player skills and ability to work with people within and outside the team.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Google, and Excel.
Strong research and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to multitask.
Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage a large and increasing workload.
Excellent customer-service skills with external customers.
Ability to find solutions by thinking outside the box.
Take ownership of getting the job done.
Ability to work closely with sales teams, placement teams, healthcare travelers, contracted agencies, and management.
Positive attitude and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

Maintain the current licensure cheat sheet.
Research licensure processes for all modalities.
Communicate with healthcare travelers about applying for licensure or certification by endorsement.
Maintain current stock of documents and fingerprinting cards for licensure.
Build a licensure and certification resource for internal and external customers.
Serve as an expert on licensure and certification.
Work with IT to provide licensure resources on the company website.
Develop and maintain relationships with licensing agencies to assist with licensure processes.
Research certification courses as needed and as time allows.
Manage reporting to licensing and certification agencies.
