About The Position

American Life Financial Partners, LLC, a rapidly growing financial services holding company, seeks a customer service-focused, hands-on, and energetic team player to join us as a Licensing, Contracting, and Commissions Coordinator. We operate as a modern insurance-holding company focused on long-term growth. We aim to foster and cultivate our relationships to sell and administer annuity products through third-party independent marketing organizations (IMOs). The Licensing, Contracting, and Commissions Coordinator is responsible for providing effective customer service for all clients and agents by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs and communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years of customer service
  • 1 year experience in data entry, licensing or contracting or other closely related role or 6 months internal experience.
  • Must have basic knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Suite
  • Familiar with workflow management systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in a related field is a plus
  • Experience in the Insurance industry is preferred
  • Basic understanding of insurance products, commission structures, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for agent licensing, contracting, and commission inquiries through phone and email.
  • Process agent licensing, appointments, and contracting activities, ensuring required documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted timely.
  • Maintain agent records and monitor licensing and contract renewals to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Assist with onboarding new agents, including background checks, training requirements, and carrier appointments.
  • Support commission administration by processing agent payment updates, reviewing commission transactions, and assisting with payment accuracy.
  • Research and resolve licensing, contracting, and commission-related issues in collaboration with agents, agencies, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Analyze and reconcile records, reports, and debit balances while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Prepare reports and monitor data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, carrier requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of departmental processes, procedures, and workflows.
