About The Position

The Licensing Analyst will primarily be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing entity licensing applications and annual company renewals, as well as assisting with other compliance projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Highly proficient computer skills, working in different software systems, data entry and excel.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in insurance company agent and agency appointment &/or other medical or financial industry experience preferred.
  • Agency licensing, SIRCON, NIPR and/or IPORTAL experience preferred.
  • Quick learner who enjoys a fast paced, collaborative work environment.
  • Requires some knowledge of a specialized function or skills.
  • Developing real trade craft and skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and files new entity appointment and licensing applications with regulatory agencies and handles inquiries and annual renewals.
  • Tracks agent appointments for new and renewal deadlines.
  • Invoices agents or accounts for reimbursement of license fees.
  • Maintains license information and codes correctly into computer system.
  • Assists with other Compliance projects such as document production for regulatory agencies, responses to complaints and other matters.
  • Maintains license pending files and reviews/works weekly.
  • Maintains and files all necessary correspondence related to the regulatory function.
  • Evaluates work for effectiveness/efficiency and recommends changes to Manager when appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.
