About The Position

Infusion for Health is dedicated to providing exceptional infusion therapy experiences for patients with autoimmune disorders and complex chronic conditions. Our mission centers on delivering professional, compassionate, and patient-focused care within a supportive environment that fosters healing and well-being. We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in Bellevue, Washington and contribute to delivering high-quality infusion and healthcare services. The LVN will play a vital role in patient assessment, medication administration, and supporting clinical operations, ensuring each patient receives safe, effective, and compassionate care throughout their treatment journey.

Requirements

  • Valid LVN license with current certification to practice in the respective state.
  • IV Certified (Required)
  • Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing, long-term care, or hospital settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
  • Background in administering IV infusions, injections, and managing acute pain or infectious disease cases.
  • Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/10), medical terminology, and documentation standards for compliance purposes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in dementia/memory care environments is highly desirable.
  • Prior exposure to hospice care, home & community care settings, or outpatient clinics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
  • Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following established protocols while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and sterile techniques.
  • Monitor patients during treatments for adverse reactions or complications, particularly in infusion therapy settings involving complex conditions like autoimmune disorders or Alzheimer's care.
  • Assist with medical procedures such as catheterization, venipuncture, tube feeding, and wound suturing under the supervision of healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans focused on patient safety and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient care activities, medication administration records, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment procedures, medication management, and post-care instructions.
