About The Position

This role involves delivering personalized patient care under the direct guidance of a Registered Nurse or Physician, ensuring every individual receives compassionate treatment that fully aligns with clinical standards and state licensure. The LVN will continuously assess patient well-being by gathering critical health data, identifying subtle changes in condition, and collaborating with the care team to maintain a safe, healing environment. Responsibilities include administering medications safely and accurately, observing for and responding to any adverse reactions, executing routine diagnostic laboratory tests and therapeutic services, and empowering patients and their families through education on discharge plans, holistic health strategies, and follow-up care.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) holding specialized knowledge in orthopedic patient care and demonstrated proficiency in comprehensive clinical management.
  • Highly dependable, flexible, and empathetic professional adept at delivering compassionate patient-centered care and adapting to dynamic healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute routine diagnostic laboratory tests and therapeutic services, streamlining clinical workflows so patients receive timely, accurate diagnoses and treatments.
  • Empower patients and their families through education, guiding them on discharge plans, holistic health strategies, and follow-up care to foster confidence and strong health outcomes at home.
