About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide nursing care on a nursing unit under the direction of an RN. The LVN gathers and reports data, carries out orders, and performs therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The role also performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
• Current BLS certification; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
• Gather and report data.
• Carry out orders.
• Perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner and in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
