About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide nursing care on a nursing unit under the direction of an RN. The LVN gathers and reports patient data, carries out orders, and performs therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner, following PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Requirements

Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
Current BLS certification; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
Current IV certification within 90 days of employment if required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
Gather and report patient data.
