About The Position
Central Gardens Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our nursing team. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing quality resident care, administering treatments and medications, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LVN program.
- Current, active California LVN license in good standing.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing exceptional resident-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, resident care plans, and facility policies.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report significant changes.
- Supervise and support CNAs and other nursing staff during assigned shifts.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation and charting.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
