About The Position
BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one skilled care to a patient in the Prosper, TX area. We are specifically looking for an LVN with hands-on wound vac experience who is confident providing attentive, high-quality care in a home setting. This position offers flexible scheduling opportunities, a supportive clinical team, and the chance to do meaningful work directly impacting a patient’s quality of life through home-based care in a comfortable patient environment.
Requirements
- Current Texas LVN license in good standing
- Wound vac experience required
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Current CPR certification
- Reliable transportation
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to patient care
Nice To Haves
- Home health or private duty nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide wound vac management and monitoring
- Perform skilled nursing care in the home
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor and document the patient’s condition
- Communicate effectively with physicians, family members, and the care team
- Promote patient comfort, safety, and overall well-being
- Follow the patient’s plan of care and clinical orders
