About The Position

The Maples is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for Day, Night, or PRN shifts to join their team at The Maples Clinic in Fort Worth, Texas. The Maples is a network of physician-driven psychiatric practices with over 25 years of experience in the behavioral health industry, managing administrative responsibilities to allow physicians to focus on patient care. They operate across Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas, offering access to a network of over 400 staff members and a supportive physician advisory board.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Must have active Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas.
Minimum of 1 year experience as an LVN
Certification in Basic Life Support
Certification in non-violent crisis intervention

Nice To Haves

experience in behavioral health care preferred

Responsibilities

Participates in the planning, coordinating, and documenting of total patient care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary treatment team
Accurately reports and records the client’s condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change
Accurately monitor skin assessments with proper documentation and reporting of changes
Completes, maintains, and documents accurate and relevant clinical notes
Ensures timely and accurate clinical documentation for all nursing clinical services provided
Participation in education, in-services, and other training and meetings as needed
Facilitates appropriate nursing action(s) in response to administrative directives and a changing healthcare environment
Ensures all MD orders are followed and documented accordingly during the assigned shift
Manages medication administration, monitoring, and proper storage of medication and complies with all medication management policies and procedures
