About The Position

Sage Specialty Hospital (LTAC) is now hiring for PRN Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) in Wichita Falls, TX. This role provides nursing and supportive care in accordance with the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care, under the direction of the RN. The LVN will communicate with attending physicians and other team members to coordinate optimal care for the patient/family, document all services provided, and report changes in patient condition and needs to the RN. This position requires great time management skills.

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current and active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Texas license
Current CPR certification
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including 12-hour shifts
Have dependable transportation

Responsibilities

Provides nursing and supportive care in accordance with the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care, under the direction of the RN.
Communicates with the attending physicians, other team members to coordinate optimal care for the patient/family.
Document all services provided and submit them on appropriate forms.
Report changes in patient condition and need to RN.
