About The Position
BrightStar Care of Edinburg is seeking compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide one-to-one patient care in a home or school setting within the Cameron County Area, including Los Fresnos, Brownsville, San Benito, Harlingen, and La Feria.
Requirements
- Active LVN license in good standing in the State of Texas
- Current accredited CPR certification
- Current TB test
- Wound care management
- Wound VAC therapy
- IV antibiotic administration (IV ABXs)
- Foley catheter insertion and care
- Lab draws (venipuncture)
- Ostomy care
- Medication administration
- Care of adult and pediatric patients
- Availability for Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation

Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one patient care in a home or school setting
- Execute physicians’ prescribed plan of care (POC)
- Accurately document care in the electronic system of record
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
- Provide health education and training to patients and family members
