The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This includes following the established plan of care, administering treatments, and collaborating effectively with other team members to achieve positive patient care outcomes. The position covers the Bastrop and Elgin areas.
Requirements
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with current and unencumbered license to practice professional nursing in the state of employment
- Possess and maintain valid CPR certification, obtained in-person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test
- Complies with accepted professional standards and practice
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills
- Access to reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Associates' degree in Vocational/Practical Nursing from an accredited program
- Two (2) years of recent nursing experience
- Community/home health or medical/surgical experience
