About The Position

Aviator Home Health is hiring a full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide skilled home health care in the Dallas, Texas area. The LVN works under the direction of an RN and participates in planning and implementing specialized procedures and duties to meet patients’ nursing care needs in accordance with agency policies. The role is part of a clinical team, with support from office and management staff. Compensation depends on factors including education, experience, and location. After meeting the quota, clinicians earn an additional $15 plus their regular rate as a bonus; earning potential is tied to effort and efficiency.

Required: LPN/LVN license.

Responsibilities

Participate under the RN’s direction in planning and implementing specialized procedures and duties that help meet patients’ nursing care needs in accordance with agency policies.
Assist the RN in carrying out the plan of care.
Prepare equipment and materials for treatments, observing aseptic technique as required.
Assist patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
Complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
Provide care using infection control measures that protect staff and patients.
Communicate effectively with patients and families, team members, and other health care professionals.
Monitor assigned cases to ensure compliance with third-party payor requirements.
Demonstrate commitment, professional growth, and competency.
Promote the agency’s philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
