About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients who are ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled per the State of California Nursing Practice Act under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in the Skilled Nursing Facility at Mountains Community Hospital. The LVN will act as a Charge Nurse, overseeing the care of 20 long-term care residents and directing the care provided by Certified Nurse Assistants.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license to practice Vocational Nursing in the State of California.
- Current CPR certificate.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled Nursing experience
- ACLS is offered upon hire.
- IV certification within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
