About The Position
The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center is seeking On-Call LVNs to join their amazing care team. This role offers schedule flexibility while providing essential nursing care that makes a difference for residents. The LVN will be a key part of maintaining a positive and caring atmosphere on every shift, assisting with clinical tasks, care planning, restorative support, and family communication.
Requirements
- Active LVN license in California — in good standing
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in fast-paced situations
- Genuine passion for serving seniors
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional direct nursing care to residents with professionalism and heart
- Support and supervise CNAs to ensure quality care delivery
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes promptly
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Respond to emergencies and ensure resident safety at all times
- Help maintain a clean and organized care environment
- Promote resident dignity, comfort, and wellbeing
- Collaborate with the care team to uphold regulatory compliance and care standards
