About The Position

LaneStaffing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a temporary assignment with one of our public-sector healthcare clients in Houston, Texas. The LVN will provide case management and direct nursing support for eligible mothers and infants, helping ensure patients receive necessary vaccinations, medications, and related healthcare services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, professionalism, integrity, accountability, and excellent customer service. This position includes face-to-face interaction with the public and work with or near vulnerable populations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from a school of vocational or practical nursing.
• Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license issued by the State of Texas.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Texas Driver License.
• Ability to meet all required health, safety, and onboarding requirements.
• Criminal background check
• Drug screening
• Texas LVN license verification
• CPR certification verification
• Driver's license verification
• Required health and immunization clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services for eligible mothers and infants.
• Assist in ensuring patients receive necessary vaccinations as ordered.
• Administer vaccines and medications in accordance with established procedures.
• Take and document vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational information.
• Interact professionally with patients, members of the public, and team members.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
