About The Position
Join BrightStar Care as a PRN LVN and provide one-on-one care to patients in the comfort of their homes. This is a flexible weekend nursing opportunity without committing to a full-time schedule. You’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships, work independently, and choose visits that fit your availability.
Requirements
- Current LVN license in good standing
- Previous nursing experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently in a home setting
- Reliable and available for weekend visits
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled care according to each patient’s established plan of care and physician orders.
- Administering medications and prescribed treatments
- Providing wound care
- Monitoring patients and reporting changes in condition
- Reinforcing patient and family education
- Following established care plans and physician orders
- Communicating patient needs and concerns with the care team
- Completing accurate and timely visit documentation
- Traveling to patients’ homes for scheduled visits
