About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse, Employee Health Coordinator, performs duties within his/her scope of practice under the direction of the healthcare provider for the coordination and implementation of the annual screening, vaccination administration, new employee physicals, related health activities, and employee health and wellness programs.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited LVN school.
  • Current LVN license issued by the State of California, Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
  • Knowledgeable use of electronic health record systems.
  • A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and knowledge regarding the physical, mental, and social needs of the employees, preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Employee Health Department or ambulatory care environment is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus
