POSITION OVERVIEW Licensed Veterinary Technician Department: Licensed Veterinary Technician Reports To: Clinic Manager Supervises: None FLSA/Work Hours Status: Full-Time 40+ hours per week DOL Status: Non-Exempt Base Pay Range: Base pay range is calculated by position title, and experience. It is determined within the departmental budget. Changes to the range are approved by the CEO. WHAT YOU’LL DO Our LVT plays an important role in advancing Nevada Humane Society’s mission. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), you play a vital role in advancing Nevada Humane Society’s (NHS) mission by supporting veterinarians in delivering compassionate care to pets. You provide essential nursing support, act as a patient advocate, perform diagnostic procedures, and assist with anesthesia and surgery. Your contributions foster strong team collaboration and reflect our commitment to providing high-quality care, finding homes, and saving lives.
