Requirements

  • Current Veterinary Technician licensure preferred
  • Strong technical and patient care skills
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
  • Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
  • Obtain high-quality radiographs and maintain imaging standards
  • Perform in-house laboratory testing, including CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, and fecal testing
  • Support surgical and dental procedures, including preparation, anesthesia monitoring, recovery, and instrument care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation
  • Educate clients regarding medications, preventative care, and discharge instructions
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment and exam areas
  • Collaborate with the team to support efficient hospital workflow
