About The Position

Animal Care Clinic is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician for full-time and part-time positions. This is a fast-paced, 1-doctor small animal general practice offering comprehensive services including preventive care, surgery, urgent care, dentistry, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasonography, and grooming. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends. The role offers opportunities for virtual and hands-on training and continuing development.

Requirements

• Licensed Veterinary Technician
• 1+ year experience preferred but not required
• Recently graduated from an AVMA accredited veterinary technology program considered
• High work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to arrive on-time and ready to work
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to communicate precisely
• Interpret medical records and record client history accurately
• Knowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow
• Ability to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe manner
• Proficient in sample collection (blood, urine, fecal, skin)
• Ability to properly set-up and process laboratory samples and tests
• Proficient in positioning and capturing radiographs
• Proficient in anesthesia and surgical monitoring
• Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance one's knowledge and skillset
• Ability to receive constructive feedback professionally

Nice To Haves

• Positioning for dental radiographs are a plus
