About The Position
At Bush Veterinary Neurology Service (BVNS) in Leesburg, VA, we are looking for energetic and motivated Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our extraordinary team. Our comprehensive training program is designed to help technicians whether your background is in general practice or specialty thrive in the exciting world of veterinary neurology. We offer exciting cross-training opportunities with our advanced imaging department, including MRI and CT scans. Imagine being part of a team that uses cutting-edge technology to make a difference in patient outcomes – it’s a game-changer! Bush Veterinary Neurology has four locations across 2 states! Our clinics are operated by board certified neurologists that provide same-day life-saving neurosurgery and long-term medical management. Our hospitals house state of the art equipment to provide advanced diagnostic testing including cerebrospinal fluid collection/analysis, computed tomography, electroencephalography, MRI and more! Our neurologists perform both spinal and brain surgeries. Some of these surgeries include intervertebral disc surgery, brain tumor removal, foramen magnum decompression, ventricular shunt replacement and more!! Veterinary technicians play an integral role in our hospital whether they are handling patient care, taking care of clients, running our diagnostic imaging equipment, or assisting doctors in surgery. You will fully utilize your skillset and continue to develop your knowledge for years to come! We are looking for a compassionate technician who is ready to put their skills and leadership ability to work!
Requirements
- Licensed Veterinary Technician
- At least 2 years of experience as an LVT (or 2 years as a Veterinary Assistant)
- Eager to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast- paced environment
- Strong foundation in veterinary technical skills
- Great attitude each day and enjoys working with their teammates
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Drug calculations and medication administration (including IV)
- Monitoring and documenting patient vitals and conditions
- Providing high-quality medical and post-operative nursing care
