About The Position
The Virginia Beach SPCA (VBSPCA) Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced licensed veterinary technician to join their dedicated team of veterinary professionals. The VBSPCA is a full-service clinic that focuses on high-volume spay/neuter, dental procedures, specialty surgeries, and routine veterinary care. This position will primarily be a surgical technician scheduled for surgeries, dental procedures, and on the mobile spay/neuter vehicle, the Neuter Scooter, but may also be scheduled for clinical appointments at the main and satellite clinic as needed.
Requirements
- 1 year of LVT licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- 1 year of surgical and anesthesia experience
Responsibilities
- Surgical technician duties for surgeries, dental procedures, and on the mobile spay/neuter vehicle.
- May be scheduled for clinical appointments at the main and satellite clinic as needed.
