Licensed Veterinary Technician
About The Position
Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to provide preventive care and treatment to pets and support the organization’s mission of creating a better world for pets. The role is based at the Hilltop location in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Banfield describes a collaborative and supportive team culture and provides resources, training, onboarding, and development to help technicians work at the top of their license and grow professionally. The position is open to recent graduates and experienced technicians. A sign-on bonus is offered for part-time and full-time LVTs for a limited time. The stated pay range is $21.54–$31.11 per hour; the specific rate and sign-on bonus depend on experience, skills, abilities, education, schedule availability, location, and applicable minimum-wage laws. The posting will remain open for at least two weeks from its posted date.
Requirements
- Veterinary Technician certification or licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT), as required by the state.
