About The Position

Suttons Bay Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join their growing team. This is a full-time position at an AAHA-accredited, 5-doctor small animal hospital dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. The hospital utilizes Fear Free handling techniques and advanced technology, including Cornerstone practice management software and Scribe Note AI-assisted medical documentation. They practice high-quality medicine, offering services such as preventive and wellness care, in-house diagnostics, orthopedic surgeries, ultrasound, laser therapy, physical therapy, and oncology care supported through virtual consultations. The practice is part of the Mission Pet Health network, offering the stability of a local practice backed by comprehensive benefits and resources.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program
  • A current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing
  • Proficiency in a range of technical skills, including nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures
  • A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations
  • Strong communication skills
  • A passion for working collaboratively

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred
