The Animal Cardiology Center (TACC) is New York City’s leading veterinary cardiology-only practice, serving dogs and cats. Led by board-certified veterinary cardiologist Dr. Justin Carlson, our specialty team is at the forefront of cardiac care, offering cutting-edge diagnostics and compassionate, personalized treatment. TACC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician with an interest in specialty practice. The Licensed Veterinary Technician at TACC is a vital member of the practice management team. This role requires the ability to effectively lead and supervise by being organized, professional, an efficient communicator, and working well with veterinarians and other team members, both clinical and administrative. The position is essential in ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely completion of daily clinical duties and responsibilities. The Tech also facilitates communication flow between doctors, the practice manager, and clinical team members. This position also performs all duties of a licensed veterinary technician. In addition to traditional Veterinary Technician duties, you will participate in: Advanced history taking, Advanced imaging, including Echocardiograms, Conducting physical examinations and patient assessments, Rounding with the doctor on cases using learned cardiology knowledge, Providing consistently compassionate care for our patients. Interested LVTs may have the opportunity to train under the Cardiologist and join the mobile TACC team.
