Requirements

Current Veterinary Technician credential (LVT, RVT, or CVT)
Strong technical skills, including anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, radiology, and laboratory diagnostics
Excellent communication and client-service skills
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment
Passion for patient care and commitment to continued professional growth

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care and safely handle and restrain patients
Assist with examinations, surgery, dentistry, and anesthesia monitoring
Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory diagnostics, and radiology
Administer medications, treatments, and vaccines as directed
Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes in condition
Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Work closely with doctors and teammates to provide exceptional patient care
