About The Position

Animal Medical Center of Seattle (AMCS) is looking for friendly and career minded Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our Internal Medicine Department in providing specialty animal care in Shoreline, WA. Our doctors, support staff and managers all work together to provide the most comprehensive care and customer service for our patients, clients, and the referring veterinary community. At Animal Medical Center of Seattle (AMCS), part of Ethos Veterinary Health, you'll join a specialty hospital where doctors, support staff, and managers work together to deliver comprehensive care for patients, clients, and the referring veterinary community. As part of our Internal Medicine team, you'll build your skills in a collaborative, specialty-focused environment.

Requirements

• Currently licensed or eligible to become licensed as a Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington
• At least 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting
• Competency in the general knowledge and nursing skills required to care for internal medicine patients
• Able to bend, kneel, stoop, and stand for long periods of time
• Can individually and frequently lift patients and inventory up to 40 pounds

Nice To Haves

• VTS credentialed technicians or those interested in pursuing obtaining VTS credentials are encouraged to apply
• specialty medicine experience is preferred but not required
• Veterinary Technicians with a strong background in anesthesia

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for internal medicine patients
• Support anesthesia and specialty procedures alongside the medical team
