Pearly Bites Veterinary Dentistry is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join their growing team. Requirements
- Licensure in New York State (LVT)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
- Ability to adapt while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Highly evolved organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Openness to feedback, coaching, and continuous learning.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2+ years’ experience as an LVT is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia and analgesia services in tandem with veterinarians and anesthesiologists.
- Perform dental radiographs, cleanings, and dental charting.
- Work with the latest technology and practice modern medicine.
- Participate in client education.
- Conduct daily anesthesia monitoring during procedures.
- Perform advanced history taking.
- Utilize advanced imaging and charting techniques.
- Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments.
- Participate in case rounds with the doctor, applying learned dentistry knowledge.
- Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients.
