Requirements

  • Licensure in New York State (LVT)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
  • Ability to adapt while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Highly evolved organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Openness to feedback, coaching, and continuous learning.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2+ years’ experience as an LVT is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia and analgesia services in tandem with veterinarians and anesthesiologists.
  • Perform dental radiographs, cleanings, and dental charting.
  • Work with the latest technology and practice modern medicine.
  • Participate in client education.
  • Conduct daily anesthesia monitoring during procedures.
  • Perform advanced history taking.
  • Utilize advanced imaging and charting techniques.
  • Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments.
  • Participate in case rounds with the doctor, applying learned dentistry knowledge.
  • Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients.
