About The Position
Carthage Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Experienced Veterinary Assistant for a part-time role. This position offers a competitive hourly wage based on experience and licensure, with a set schedule of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, ensuring no nights, weekends, or holidays. The role emphasizes professional growth, a positive clinic culture, and excellent work-life balance, including regular lunch breaks. Requirements
- Previous experience as a veterinary assistant, OR current licensure as a veterinary technician.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients as part of a collaborative veterinary team.
- Support doctors and teammates to ensure smooth hospital operations.
- Listen to and support clients.
- Perform clinical duties such as patient restraint, lab work, radiographs, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring (specific duties may vary).
