Requirements

High School Diploma
Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field required (MSW, MFT)
At least two (2) years experience with one (1) year in a behavioral or psychiatric setting preferred.
Must have current, valid, and unrestricted California-issued LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a mental healthcare hospital environment where attention was focused on human behavior, psychiatry, psychology, or other mental healthcare situations.

Responsibilities

Counsels individuals and groups regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, mental or behavioral health issues and/or family situations.
Develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans, predominantly in the Intensive Outpatient Services unit.
Provides psychotherapeutic services to all patients.
Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment programs and philosophy.
Assures the delivery of quality treatment to patients and their families.
