Licensed Therapist - Maryland- Peak Hours (Evenings & Weekends)
About The Position
Backpack Healthcare provides accessible behavioral healthcare to children, teens, young adults, and their families — 100% online and covered by most insurance. We are a clinician-led, minority-owned organization that believes great outcomes start with supporting great clinicians. We are looking for Maryland-licensed therapists who are energized by evening and weekend work and want to make a meaningful impact during these high-demand peak care hours. This role is designed specifically around our highest-demand hours: Weekdays: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Weekends: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM. These are the hours when kids are home from school, parents are available, and families are often most ready to engage in care. Your availability can help a family get the support they need when they actually need it.
Requirements
- Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
- Strong communication, documentation, and technology skills
- Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Conducting clinical intakes and developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans
- Providing individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth
- Collaborating with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other members of our interdisciplinary team
- Supporting families through education and care coordination
- Maintaining timely and accurate documentation in our EHR
- Building meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients and families
- Delivering culturally responsive care that meets families where they are
