Childhelp is a psychiatric residential treatment facility that specializes in the treatment of children aged 5-14 with mild to severe trauma or neglect, psychiatric disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a Master’s degree in social work from an accredited School of Social Work or a Master’s degree in a related Mental Health field
Licensed by the State of Virginia as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC OR Licensed as a Resident in Counseling (RIC) or Supervisee in Social Work (SiSW)
Minimum of 2 years of work experience providing mental health counseling services to children, adolescents, and their families
Be able to perform a therapeutic restraint
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Responsibilities

Conduct individual, group and family therapy with clients assigned to your personal caseload (8-10).
Responsible for overall delivery and implementation of each individual Client Treatment Plan.
Attending Child and Family Team meetings and treatment team meetings.
Completing assessment, Client Treatment Plans and reports as required by the county and state.
Attend to clients, families, and referral source concerns.
Providing timely reports on treatment obstacles and progress.
Documents treatment interventions and results in a timely manner.
Conduct 1-3 therapy groups weekly and as needed to support client growth.
