About The Position

Tampa Bay Girls Academy - Secure is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk and max-risk females' youth aged 12-21. These programs provide services utilizing evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults. Requirements

Florida license as a LPC, LAC, LMSW, or LCSW
Master’s Degree in a relevant field
At least 21 years of age
Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
Ability to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License

Responsibilities

Provides individual, family, and group therapy.
Oversees the completion of treatment for students under their care.
Conducts clinical assessments.
Develops service plans.
Provides counseling.
Performs case management.
Maintains record keeping.
Coordinates services with the multi-disciplinary team.
Documents and assesses the effectiveness of specific interventions toward meeting treatment plan objectives and goals.
Provides crisis intervention, as necessary.
Completes monthly progress notes, staffing reports, plans, and discharge summaries of all students within their care.
