About The Position
At Resources for Human Development (RHD), we are seeking compassionate professionals to join our team and help individuals live fulfilling and independent lives. RHD is a nonprofit organization with over 115 human service programs nationwide, dedicated to providing effective services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, homelessness, and addiction recovery. The RHD Ocean County RIST program specifically offers residential intensive support for individuals experiencing homelessness, chemical dependence, and/or mental illness, fostering a nurturing environment to develop life skills for successful community living. Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field.
- State license is required (LPC, LMSW, LISW) as specified in the addendum based on program licensing/funder requirements.
- Familiar with standard business computer software programs and electronic Health Care Database programs.
- ACT 33/34 clearances if required by program
- FBI clearance, as needed
- All trainings required by licensure
Nice To Haves
- Prior Experience working as a Therapist in outpatient IIC and or Residential Setting
- Experience in working closely with a clinical team/ MDT
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments including recommendations for treatment.
- Provide individual, group and family therapies to people with mental health and substance abuse issues.
- Maintain active caseload including engaging individuals in ongoing treatment.
- Maintain tracking system for treatment plans, and other required documents to meet program funder guidelines and program goals.
- Participate in clinical group meetings regarding ongoing treatment goals, progress and discharge as needed.
- Enter documentation into electronic medical records in accordance with agency guidelines.
- Provide supervision to non-licensed therapists, counselors and other staff as needed to support state requirements for licensing.
