About The Position

Therapy Center Houston is a therapist-owned group practice providing evidence-based mental health care to adults, couples, and families. The practice handles marketing, billing, scheduling, and intake so clinicians can focus on clients. The role involves providing therapy to adults and/or couples and booking clients for weekly sessions. Clinicians must be available at least two evenings per week or for some Saturday hours. The office is open 8 a.m.–8 p.m., Monday–Saturday. Therapists must work with Therapy Center Houston as their only private practice during employment; community agency work is welcome.

Requirements

• An active Texas license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist, or an associate license as an LPC-A, LMSW, or LMFT-A with at least 1,500 hours completed.
• Experience or a strong interest in working with adults and/or couples.
• Availability at least two evenings per week or for some Saturday hours.
• Work with Therapy Center Houston as the only private practice during employment; community agency work is welcome.
• Collaborative, growth-minded, and eager to learn with a team.

Nice To Haves

• Training in IFS, EMDR, ACT, CBT, DBT skills, Gottman, EFT, somatic approaches, or similar evidence-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to adults and/or couples.
• Book clients' weekly therapy sessions.
• Work collaboratively with the team and participate in clinical case consultation and training.
