About The Position

We are looking for a Licensed Social Worker or Counselor with a Master's degree to join our team! In this role, the Licensed Social Worker/Counselor provides services to patients and families, acting as a liaison between the treatment team, physicians, referral sources, community agencies, outside therapists, and third-party reviewers. Additionally, the Licensed Social Worker/Counselor provides individual, family, multi-family, and group therapy per program needs. Completes assessments, contributes to the master treatment plan, and ensures discharge planning is complete and contributes to discharge summaries as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Master’s Degree in Counseling.
• Ohio LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC.
• Work experience as licensed social worker or counselor.
• Working knowledge of developmental and life stage of and psychiatric problems peculiar to younger childhood (ages 3-7), middle childhood (ages 8-12), and adolescent (ages 13 to 18) populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Diplomacy and discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience in a mental healthcare facility is highly preferred.
