About The Position

At AllHealth Network, compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based care come together to support individuals with complex behavioral health and substance use needs. In partnership with Harmony Recovery, we provide comprehensive, trauma-informed care within a structured residential treatment environment designed to support healing and long-term recovery. As a Licensed Therapist at Harmony Recovery, you will play a key role in delivering individualized, evidence-based treatment to individuals participating in residential substance use and behavioral health programs. This position supports clients through all stages of recovery, addressing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders while promoting stability, skill development, and sustainable lifestyle change. Therapists in this role work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide individual therapy, group facilitation, and care coordination within a 24-hour residential setting. This position emphasizes a holistic, strengths-based approach that integrates clinical interventions, relapse prevention, and psychosocial support to help clients build a strong foundation for long-term recovery and successful reintegration into their communities.

  • Licensed or license‑eligible required (LAC, LMFT, LPC, or LCSW)
  • Minimum of two years post‑graduate clinical experience in behavioral health, substance use, and/or criminal justice settings
  • Demonstrated proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and evidence‑based therapeutic engagement
  • Knowledge of DSM‑5, recovery‑oriented care, and trauma‑informed treatment principles
  • Experience working with individuals and families experiencing mental health, behavioral health, and substance use conditions
  • Strong written and verbal communication, clinical judgment, and time‑management skills
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and PC‑based software including Word and Excel
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

  • Addressing criminogenic risk and needs as part of the treatment plan, including the use of evidence based cognitive behavioral therapies shown to reduce recidivism.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and documentation to meet regulatory standards and/or contractual requirements.
  • Serving clients with SMI who have prior arrests and incarcerations.
  • Leveraging sanctions and incentives imposed by the criminal justice agencies, providing supervision, when appropriate.
  • Actively participate in, and contribute to, a team-based model to ensure integration of services and coordination of care to promote improved client outcomes.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and documentation to meet regulatory standards and/or contractual requirements.
  • De-escalation Techniques: Given the high-stress nature of the criminal justice system and the mental health challenges associated with SPMI, therapists must be proficient in de-escalation strategies. This includes remaining calm in intense situations and helping clients manage emotions in a healthy way.
  • Crisis Management: The ability to manage and intervene in mental health crises, whether related to suicidal ideation, psychosis, or extreme distress, is critical. Therapists must know when and how to involve other professionals, such as emergency services, while maintaining therapeutic support.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments, care plans, evaluations, crisis intervention and psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups of clients with mental health and behavioral health needs who are involved in the 18th and 23rd judicial district criminal justice system.
  • Use evidence-based models for treatment, including but not limited to CBT, brief solution-focused therapy, choice theory, harm reduction, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and DBT.
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with case managers, peers, nurses, and psychiatric providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in EHR according to established protocols.
  • Maintain positive, ethical, and professional working relationships with community, government agencies, and other professionals.
