About The Position

An IT Harmony Architect (often styled as an Integration Architect or Solutions Architect in high-level roles) is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining seamless connectivity between diverse software systems, applications, and data sources within an organization. They act as the technical maestro, ensuring that different platforms work together in unison, reducing redundancy and optimizing performance.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture tools and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL).
  • Proficiency in API technologies (REST, GraphQL).
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Ability to understand how technology components fit into the larger enterprise ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-level architecture blueprints for integrating new technologies with legacy systems.
  • Ensure data is accurately and securely transferred across systems (data integrity). Utilize middleware, API gateways, and message queues.
  • Standardize technology stacks to eliminate fragmented IT systems. Create a smooth and efficient digital environment.
  • Work with business leaders to align IT solutions with business objectives. Translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Evaluate and select third-party technologies. Manage vendor relationships. Guide development teams during implementation.
  • Continuously monitor integration performance. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot and fix issues as they arise.
