Plains Area Mental Health, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Therapist to join our Carroll office, where you'll work alongside experienced psychiatric providers, case managers, peer support specialists, and behavioral health professionals who share one common goal—helping clients achieve lasting success. If you enjoy working as part of a supportive clinical team while serving individuals with diverse behavioral health needs, this is an opportunity worth exploring. This full-time position provides outpatient counseling services for children and adults in a community mental health setting. Clinicians work Monday through Friday with one scheduled evening each week and enjoy a predictable schedule along with opportunities for hybrid work after onboarding. Travel to nearby satellite offices may occasionally be required.
Requirements
- Master's Degree (MA, MS, MSW)
- Iowa LMHC, LISW or LMFT License
- Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive behavioral health evaluations.
- Provide individual counseling across a variety of diagnoses and age groups.
- Coordinate care with internal providers and community resources.
- Participate in treatment planning and clinical consultation.
- Maintain timely documentation and clinical records.
- Assist during crisis intervention situations when needed.
- Participate in paid on-call rotation.
- Mentor temporary licensed clinicians through supervision.
