About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate IOP Therapist to join our growing clinical team to provide high-quality, evidenced-based care through group, individual, and family therapy. The role involves facilitating structured IOP group therapy sessions, providing individual and family therapy, completing clinical documentation, conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, monitoring client progress, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, participating in case consultations and team meetings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting crisis intervention when necessary.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Active and unrestricted licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent)
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care)
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • A clinician who is engaged, accountable, and solution-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with diverse client populations
  • A team player who can also take initiative and manage their own caseload effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), or similar level of care
  • Background in mental health, substance use disorders, or co-occurring disorders
  • Experience facilitating group therapy
  • Familiarity with insurance requirements and medical necessity criteria
  • Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate structured IOP group therapy sessions (process, psychoeducation, skills-based)
  • Provide individual and family therapy as clinically indicated
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external referral sources to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and utilization reviews
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards
  • Support crisis intervention and risk assessment when necessary
  • Maintain a consistent caseload and meet productivity standards
  • Complete all documentation within required timeframes
  • Deliver high-quality, clinically sound group and individual sessions
  • Demonstrate measurable client engagement and progress
  • Adhere to program schedules and maintain punctuality
  • Contribute positively to team culture and collaboration
  • Support program growth through strong clinical outcomes and referral relationships
