About The Position

Horizon Health is seeking a Licensed Therapist for their outpatient mental health clinic, Thousand Branches Wellness, located in Arden Hills, MN. This clinical position is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations of the assigned location, focusing on adolescent and young adult populations with a specialty in eating disorders and/or substance use. The role involves clinical assessment, group therapy, individual therapy, interdisciplinary treatment planning, and other clinical interventions. Clinical operations will be offered both in person and virtually. Thousand Branches Wellness, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), provides intensive outpatient (IOP), medication management, and individual therapy services. The company is looking for an experienced therapist who thrives in a start-up environment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree
  • Active MN LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or equivalent licensure
  • Specialty in eating disorders and/or substance use (for the IOP-Adolescent and Young Adult Population)
  • Ability to foster a sense of teamwork and collaboration within the facility
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good judgement in handling situations not covered by written or verbal instructions
  • Crisis prevention experience and ability to manage personal, staff and patient stressors appropriately
  • Understanding of state and The Joint Commission requirements for outpatient behavioral health services
  • Knowledge of EMR utilization
  • Maintain confidentiality through good judgement

  • Referral management, assessments and direct client contact (individual, group and family)

  • Implement and manage systems to ensure effective communication with clients, families, referral sources and other relevant entities
  • Treatment, discharge and safety planning
  • Maintain active licensure and participate in payer credentialing
  • Active participation in clinic consultation, supervision and collaboration
  • Thorough and timely clinical documentation
  • Active engagement in performance improvement
  • Maintain a safe, respectful and collaborative work environment
  • Organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
  • Monitor and manage client satisfaction through standardized measures
  • Other duties as assigned
