Licensed Registered Dietitian - Eating Disorders Program (Behavioral Health)
About The Position
St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI) is seeking a Licensed Dietitian with expertise and a passion in the area of Eating Disorders. This part-time role involves assessing nutritional needs, developing meal plans, and providing nutritional counseling to patients. The multidisciplinary team of 70+ colleagues are willing to share clinical expertise for case consultation, continuing education, and program development. Local candidates in MO are preferred, and the candidate must be professionally licensed in Missouri. This opportunity is part-time with the possibility of becoming full-time. The Eating Disorders Program is a comprehensive treatment program for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorders, Emotional Overeating, Compulsive Exercising, and more. The role includes the opportunity to carry a caseload of outpatients, as well as provide dietary services within the Eating Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program and Partial Hospitalization Program.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in areas like dietetics, clinical nutrition, or public health nutrition
- Fully licensed by the State of Missouri to practice independently
- Experience treating adolescents and adults within eating disorders
- Experience specifically within CBT or DBT
Nice To Haves
- FBT training is preferred
- The ideal candidate would render services in-person and onsite at our Chesterfield location
- Hybrid (in-person + telehealth) schedules are open
